SWLA Music School's flagship band camp, Young Band Nation has become one of Lake Charles' most sought-after music camps. For students ages 7-17 from the beginner level to the advanced level, this camp gives our campers the ultimate music education experience, while making lasting friendships with like-minded local musicians. • Be in a band with students of the same age and skill level.

• Rehearse and jam with like-minded students under the tutelage of Baton Rouge's best and brightest professional musicians and educators.

• Record with your band and get .mp3 files after camp!

• Perform LIVE for friends and family on the last day of camp!

Little Rockers Music Camp

(Ages 6 -11)

3 day camp 9:00am - 12:00pm​​

This camp is geared towards our younger aspiring musicians.  No prior music experience is necessary.  Is your youngster interested in music?  Do they love to sing and dance?  Do they bang on pots and pans in the kitchen?  This camp is all about discovery.  With a mix of fun arts and crafts activities, singing along with some of their favorite songs, and an impromptu dance party or two as well.  They will have a blast checking out how different instruments work and making new friends.
